Duljo Fire Razes 70 Houses
It wasn’t a good start of the year for some residents in Sitio C.Padul, Barangay Duljo-Fatima in Cebu City as 70 houses were burned during an afternoon fire incident yesterday, January 2.
The Cebu City Fire Department received the fire alarm at 4:35 p.m. and was raised to 2nd alarm at 4:44 p.m.
The fire was not repelled immediately making the authorities raise the alarm to 3rd alarm at 4:49 p.m. and 4th alarm at 5:09 p.m.
The fire was declared under control at 5:55 p.m.
As of 7:52 p.m. yesterday, initial record showed that there were 112 families or 411 individuals affected by the fire incident.
Around P100,000 was the estimated worth of damage.
Fire victims are currently staying at the Duljo gym for temporary shelter. (MLC)
