DTI and TikTok Partner to Empower Filipino MSMEs with Digital Skills through Camp Asenso
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has teamed up with TikTok Shop Philippines to help Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) embrace digital transformation through a learning session called Camp Asenso.
Held at the DTI head office on June 24-25, the event saw 380 MSMEs participating both onsite and online, highlighting their eagerness to adopt digital tools and expand their market reach.
Empowering Filipino MSMEs with TikTok Shop
Camp Asenso was created to provide MSMEs with practical knowledge and skills for using TikTok Shop to grow their businesses. Experts from TikTok Shop shared valuable insights on maximizing the platform’s features, including a mock live selling session that demonstrated effective marketing and product selling techniques.
Participants received comprehensive seller kits from TikTok, which included mini tripods, LED lights, portable microphones, and other essential tools. These kits help MSMEs create high-quality content and connect with a broader audience, enhancing their e-commerce potential.
