The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office II, through the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, launched its regionwide ‘Tuloy ang Pagbabago campaign’ recently.

Ponciana P. Condoy, regional director, said the campaign aims to showcase the positive changes on the program beneficiaries where they shared their stories that drew inspiration among their fellow beneficiaries and admiration from the partners.

“Sana magpatuloy pa ang Pantawid Pamilya nang patuloy rin ang mga magagandang pagbabago sa aking buhay, pati na rin sa mga katulad kong nagsimula nang makabangon mula sa kahirapan,” said Corazon Catacutan, a Parent Leader from Brgy. Cariculud, Solana, Cagayan.

Condoy said that the campaign is the final version of the Pantawid Pamilya Active Citizenship communication campaign intended to protect and enhance awareness of beneficiaries of their rights and duties for the national election season.

Another highlight of the activity was the unveiling of the FESbook or the Frequently Encountered Situations book which contains guide for the internal staff of DSWD in handling election-related scenarios.

The Pantawid Pamilya is a human-development and rights-based program of the national government and is being implemented by DSWD. The program invests in the health and education of poor Filipino children aged 0-18 years old by providing cash grants in exchange of compliance to certain conditionalities.
