DSWD Assists Fire Victims In Talisay

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 7 has given 560 family food packs to the 280 families whose houses were razed to the ground by a fire on March 21, 2016 at Sitio Pungsod, Lawaan III, Talisay City.

Aside from the family food packs, DSWD also gave 20 packs fried rice, and 344 packs stewed hamburger.

To answer the needs of the victims other than food, DSWD also gave essential non-food items such as165 sets of kitchen utensils, 265 pcs. blankets, and 265 pcs. mosquito nets.
