DSWD 7: No Promo in 4Ps

The Department of Social Welfare & Development (DSWD) 7 has warned the public of the text message which uses the government’s Pantawid Pamilya program (4Ps).

The said message reportedly being circulated in the region, according to the DSWD7, read: “makadawat niini modaug ug P950,000 gikan ni Presidente Noy-Noy Aquino Foundation 4Ps Pantawid Pamilya Program isip second prize winner sa “Handog Pangkabuhayan” raffle promo nga may DTI P#9513 s’ 12.” But the department said there are no promos of any kind regarding the said pro-poor program.

The DSWD7 said only those pre-qualified beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilya can receive the cash grants, and these are directly given to them by their respective local government units.
