Drug Group Leader Nabbed in Buy-Bust Op, P1-M Shabu Recovered

A buy-bust operation was commenced on Sunday, April 14, 2019 in Sunrise Village, Brgy Poblacion Pardo, Cebu City led to the arrest of a high value target and leader of a drug group.

Pardo Police Station 7 operatives launched the operation around 7 am in the said area and arrested three suspects.

The leader of the Abellana drug group was identified as Archie Rosales Abellana, 39, and a resident of Sitio Garfield Brgy Poblacion Pardo, Cebu City.

While suspected cohorts Marjory Pastorpili Arriesgado, 33, and Lendon Perez Gonzaga, 37 were also arrested.in the operation.

Recovered from the suspects were 5 plastic packs of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride also known as ‘shabu’ with an estimated weight of 168.14 grams with an estimated value of P1,143,352 and a sling bag.

Suspects are detained and the recovered contraband were brought to Regional Crime Laboratory Office 7 (RCLO 7) for laboratory examination. (ASC)
