The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) conducted 43 job fairs across the nation on June 12, 2024, in celebration of the 126th anniversary of Philippine Independence.

These events, dubbed “Araw ng Kalayaan Job Fairs,” provided over 100,000 job vacancies for Filipinos, both locally and overseas.

The job fairs were held in various partner malls, gymnasiums, schools, and other local venues nationwide.

The job fairs featured different job openings from multiple industries, with top vacancies including Production Workers/Operators, Customer Service Representatives, Cashiers, Baggers, Sales Clerks, Laborers, Carpenters, Painters, Service Crew, Cooks, Waiters, and Servers.

Moreover, a one-stop shop for government services was also available at the job fairs. This facility assisted job seekers in processing their pre-employment documents, including clearances and certifications required for employment. (ASC)
