DOLE Holds Quality Management Seminar for Employees

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) conducted a Quality Management System (QMS) awareness seminar for its employees on February 17-18, 2025, reinforcing its commitment to efficiency and integrity in public service.

Sixty employees participated in discussions on ISO 9001:2015, an international standard for quality management, to ensure its principles are applied in daily operations. The department’s Central Office, regional offices, and attached agencies are already certified under this standard.

DOLE-QMS Committee Chairperson Undersecretary Felipe N. Egargo, Jr. emphasized the department’s focus on maintaining high service standards. Meanwhile, Cynthia R. Ramirez of the Philippine Trade Training Center highlighted how quality management improves efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

The seminar was organized under Executive Order No. 605 by DOLE’s Human Resource Development Service. (ASC)
