DOH #1 in Awareness & Trust Ratings – Pulse Asia

The Department of Health (DOH) earned the top spot for awareness and trust ratings among select government agencies covered by the December Ulat ng Bayan Report of Pulse Asia.

DOH earned a 100% awareness rating, along with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police. DOH also moved up to #1 in trust ratings, from 72% in September to 80% this December.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III likewise earned the #1 spot for awareness (87%) and performance (from 67% in September to 74% this December).

“I congratulate the entire DOH workforce, officials and employees alike, for their dedication and commitment!” Secretary Duque remarked. “Without their untiring and selfless efforts in improving our health services and making these felt by the people, we would not have earned the people’s trust,” he added.

DOH also achieved an 83% performance rating, a 5-point leap from its 78% rating last September. DOH ranked second to the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Department of Education that tied at 85%.

“With this good news, we are all exhilarated to deliver Universal Health Care and provide responsive, accessible, and quality health services to every Filipino. Maraming salamat sa inyong pagtitiwala,” the Health Chief concluded.
