DOE Holds 2018 Energy Investment Forum
The Department of Energy (DOE) hosted the annual Energy Investment Forum, September 13, 2018 at Cebu Parklane Hotel.
Organized by the Investment Promotion Office (IPO), the event picked the theme, “Transcending Investments: Role in Encouraging Investors in the Energy Sector”.
According to the DOE, the forum as organized aims to provide local and international stakeholders updates on the different investment opportunities, available incentives, financing mechanisms and regulatory framework in the energy sector.
Officials who graced the event are DOE Officer-in-Charge of Visayas Field Office Saul Gonzales, DOE Assistant Secretary Redentor Delola, Christian Ereno from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Atty. Jamila Bunsa, Regional Development Council-Infrastructure Development Council (RDC-IDC) Chairman Glenn Anthony Soco, Atty. Marissa Anino from the Development Bank of the Philippines and Mr. Bren Lalican from Cadiz Solar Power Plant.
