DMCI Homes to Launch P20-Billion Development in Cebu
One of the top real estate developers in the country has entered Cebu’s booming condomonium market with a P20-billion investment to a four-hectare property in barangay Guadalupe.
DMCI Homes, the Philippines first Quadruple A developer, said the decision to enter the Cebu market was made following the successful ventures in San Juan, Batangas, and in Tuba, Benguet last year.
“Cebu City’s robust economy and growing demand for quality homes make it an ideal location for our expansion,” said Vice President for Project Development Dennis Yap in a statement. “We’re excited to introduce our signature resort-inspired condominiums to this bustling city and be part of its dynamic development.”
For more than 25 years, DMCI Homes had 72 quality developments in the country specifically that of Metro Manila, Laguna, Cavite, Baguio City, Boracay, and Davao City.
With condominium living being highly popular in Cebu, Yap expressed confidence that Cebuanos will appreciate DMCI Homes’ value-for-money offerings.
“The Queen City of the South deserves nothing but the best, and we’re about to deliver just that—our project with the biggest open space to date,” Yap said.
DMCI Homes would have entered the Cebu market earlier but it was halted temporarily because of the pandemic. But Yap noted that Cebu’s booming opportunities has made it clear that they need to continue with the expansion project.
“Cebu is a rapidly growing market with great potential,” Yap said. “We look forward to making a positive impact and contributing to the city’s growth.”
While DMCI Homes is new to Cebu’s property market, its sister firm, DM Consunji, Inc. (DMCI), has already made landmark projects as being part of the Cebu Link Joint Venture, a consortium with Acciona and First Balfour that built the iconic Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) bridge.
Other landmarks built by DMCI in Cebu include SM Cebu, Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa, the Ayala Life Cebu office building, and Ayala Center Cebu.
Innovative and distinct offers in DMCI homes, according to Yap, is the showcase of their proprietary Lumiventt Design Technology, Internet-ready units, and ride-share carpooling services.
Yap said they will take condominium living in Cebu City to new heights.
On Friday, November 8, top officials from DMCI including its chairman Isidro Consunji will be in Cebu to celebrate its 25th anniversary and launch Kalea Heights and showroom at Esplanade in Lahug.
The Thanksgiving Event will also mark its presence and commitment to help in the developments of Cebu.
