DIY Facial Cleansers, Toners and Moisturizers
These all-natural remedies are best because we can find all the ingredients in our kitchens! Always try to get organic and all-natural forms, and these can work wonders in your skin.
1. Cleansing products
* Honey
Honey is antibacterial and anti-fungal, so it is excellent for acne-prone skin and pretty much all skin types. To wash your face with honey, gently massage a small amount into your skin and rinse with warm water. Honey is also very moisturizing, so it leaves your skin soft and very smooth.
* Oils
The oil-cleansing method is a natural remedy that I just discovered as well. My favorite one is jojoba oil. It is excellent for reducing acne scars, and it leaves your skin very radiant. Massage a few drops of oil into your face and then rinse with warm water. Some other great options are coconut oil, olive oil and castor oil. Oils are also excellent makeup removers.
2. Toning
* Ice
After you cleanse your face, you should always tone. Rubbing ice directly onto your face is an excellent method because it helps to open your pores. If you find ice to be too cold, you can use ice-cold water instead.
* Lemon
Lemon contains citric acid, which is great for treating acne. The vitamin C in lemon gives your skin a natural glow. You can squeeze some lemon juice into a cup along with some honey and apply the mixture directly to your face. Leave it on (especially on the affected areas) for about 20-30 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
* Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar and water is an effective toner! You can make a batch and use the mixture for a month. All you need to do is apply a small amount to a cotton ball and then tone after cleansing. This helps to balance the pH levels in your skin, resulting in fewer breakouts. It also wards off bacteria, reduces acne and scars, lightens age spots and aids in unclogging pores — resulting in healthier-looking skin.

3. Moisturizing and exfoliating
* Oils again!
They work wonders. Coconut and jojoba oil are chosen favorites. Always remember that a little goes a long way. Coconut oil kills bacteria, and it can be used as a natural sunscreen.
* Honey and brown sugar
Mix about 3 tablespoons of honey with 2 tablespoons of sugar and rub the mixture into your skin. Leave it on your skin for about 15 minutes and then rinse with warm water. Do this once a week. Exfoliating with natural products helps to lift the dead or dry skin cells.
* Sea salt and water
This is another great morning regimen to exfoliate dead skin cells. Just mix some sea salt with warm water, scrub away and rinse.
