Discounts, Freebies Available at ‘Balik-Eskwela Diskwento’
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Antique is inviting consumers to visit business establishments to avail of discounts and freebies as part of the in-store Balik-Eskwela Diskwento from May 30 to June 3.
Lynna Joy Cardinal, trade and industry development specialist, said the DTI organizes the said activity every year and it aims to give consumers discounts and freebies on school supplies, bags, uniforms and shoes, among others.
DTI holds such activity prior to the start of classes,”so that students and parents could save,” Cardinal told PIA during a radio interview over DYKA on May 30.
A total of 14 business establishments will join this year’s Balik-Eswkela Diskwento.
Of the number, 13 are based in San Jose, the capital town of the province while one is in Sibalom town.
The business establishments that are part of the diskwento are stores at the Business Park such as SZ RTW; Ignacio and Rebecca General Merchandise; Gian’s Enterprise (Business Park, Perciado St. and Calixto Zaldivar St); Joem’s School, Office Supply and Equipment; and B.E.Y. Enterprise.
Also joining are Corona Stop and Shop and Fabulous Jeans and Shirts and General Merchandise at the Gov. Villavert St; V-Brent Enterprise, Unitop General Merchandise and San Jose City Square Traders at T. Fornier St.; Gaisano Grand Mall Antique; Expressions at Robinson’s Place; and Hark Park School Tools in Sibalom. (CBA/PIA-Antique)
