Despite of Everything…There Are Second Chances for Us
Psalm 73:25-26
“In heaven I have only You, and on this earth You are all I want. My body and mind may fail, but You are my strength and my choice forever.”
In this world, no one is exempted from committing mistakes. Every move we make, we are bound to decide on things regardless of its results. Sometimes, we allow ourselves being overcome and overwhelmed by our situations that left us following the wrong way.
There are also instances that we are not aware of what we are doing. God has given us the free will to decide with conviction to choose.
Have you ever tried doing the same things over and over and over again, and you know yourself that it is not the plan or the work God wants you to do? Yes, you already know that God has planned your life, He will mold you and shape you but you have already lost your confidence in His sight because you are thinking you are one stinky, hopeless, dirty sinner. However, choose to be glad sons and daughters, because the truth is, no matter how dirty and stinky you are in your own perception that sometimes you do think you are hopeless and you aren’t changing, our God is the God of second chances.
His grace and mercy never stop even if we choose the path of unrighteousness. Nothing you can do that will make him stop loving you. Nobody and nothing can snatch you away from His heart. He will always love us and desires good things for us. God wants us to become, to be, and to do. One thing that we need to have for us to reconnect our relationship to God is hunger. Your hunger and longing for His presence is the frequency of heaven. You just need to present your heart and yourself to Him without inhibitions.
It’s true that every day we have different struggles and temptations to face, but good thing we can depend on our all-loving God when we need strength to resist our weaknesses. Now hold your head up high. Stop condemning yourself and start obeying God. Don’t doubt that He is doing something good for you. Allow Him to reposition your life and be grateful that our God is the God of second chances. He will forgive those people who humble themselves before him. Start afresh!
