Davide Won’t Fence Off Fuente PNP Station

Despite reports that the former Police Station 2 in Fuente Osmeña is being used as a “motel” by local police, Governor Hilario Davide III said he will not fence off the property.

“Kanang portion, although province owns it, naay court case. I’m still having that look into kay daghan nihangyo kung pwede ba sila mohangyo, gamiton. Wap-a nako matan-aw og maayo. I told provincial legal officer Orvi Ortega kung naa gyu’y kaso,” said Davide.

The property has long been abandoned after the station transferred to its new location. There are reports circulating that some policemen were seen bringing ‘girls’ inside the premises.

“In the meantime, di pa kasulti unsay buhaton ana. It’s not good kung tinuod man na. We can’t just be pointing fingers to police. We need some proof gyud,” Davide said.

Davide said there were organizations who approached him and asked if they could convert the area into a feeding center for homeless kids.

The governor said that even if such request is valid, he could not approve it because of the reported court case over property.
