Davide to NBI, PNP: Look for More Angles
Cebu Governor Hilario Davide III is happy with the development of the murder-slay case of lawyer Noel Archival, but asked authorities to dig deeper into the case to arrest the real suspects.
“Nalipay ta nga dunay resulta sa imbestigasyon sa NBI ug PNP. As I’ve always stated, hopefully mapaspasan na gyud ang pag-investigate sa kaso ni Atty. Archival. Kinahanglan, naay deeper investigation. This present development is very revealing,” said Davide.
Davide’s statement came after the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI-7) served a search warrant against officials of the PNP-Highway Patrol Group after investigations reportedly revealed that vehicles used by the killers was under the custody of the said agency.
The warrant, which was issued by Regional Trial Court Executive Judge Soliver Peras, was for the red Toyota Corolla Vios (GSC 675), which is now under the custody of the NBI.
“Let’s just hope nga ang tanang angles matan-aw sa NBI ug sa PNP. Those responsible will be apprehended and cases against them filed,” he said.
Archival and three of his companions were ambushed while traveling in Dalaguete town last February. Three died including Archival himself.
