Davao Donates P1.5-M to El Niño Hit Towns in Cebu

Davao City government donated P1,500,000 to El Niño hit Cebu towns at the Philippine Red Cross Regional Operation Center and Warehouse.

Present in the turnover of the cash assistance were Cebu Provincial Risk Reduction and Management Office chief Baltazar Tribunalo Jr., Talisay Disaster Risk Reduction Management officers, Carcar City Disaster Risk Reduction Management officers, Bureau of Treasury 7 representatives, Commission on Audit, and Philippine Red Cross.

Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRM) officer, retired police superintendent Alfredo Baloran, turnovered the checks to Philippine Red Cross – Cebu Chapter.

The Philippine Red Cross – Cebu Chapter will serve as the third party distributor of the cash assistance to the affected towns in Cebu.
