Cutting Red Tape: Government Agencies Revoke 1,062 Burdensome Rules
Twenty-five government agencies have signified their commitment to eliminate red tape by revoking 1,062 rules and regulations that are deemed redundant and cumbersome.
The Project Repeal: Philippine Anti-Red Tape Challenge has received 33,902 issuances from more than 70 agencies for review and possible repeal.
Leading the 2nd Repeal Day are Department of Finance Undersecretary and Anti-Red Tape Czar Gil Beltran (4th left), Senate Committee on Trade Chairman Juan Miguel Zubiri (center), and National Competitiveness Council (NCC) Private Sector Co-Chairman Guillermo Luz (6th from right).
