CPPO’s SEMPO Arrested 260 and Nabbed P1.9-M Worth of Shabu

260 individuals were arrested and over P1.9 million worth of illegal drugs were nabbed in a two-day Synchronized Enhanced Managing Police Operations (SEMPO) by the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO).

A mandate from Police Brigadier General Debold Sinas intensified the operation against illegal drugs, illegal gambling, illegal fishing, violation of the election ban, and other forms of illegal activities in Cebu Province.

106 individuals were arrested in the series of buy-bust operations and 8 drug personalities were arrested through search warrants.

6 most wanted criminals were put to jail through arrest warrants while 76 wanted persons were also nabbed.

13 individuals were arrested for illegal fishing in Cebu Province.

Illegal gambling activities were also a focus in the operation and led to the arrests of 58 persons in Cebu.

A total of 283.13 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride was recovered with a estimated value of P1,925,284 and 113 loose firearms were also confiscated in the two day SEMPO by CPPO. (ASC)
