COVID-19 Center to Rise Soon in Cebu

The Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH)-7 will soon have its COVID-19 Center in Cebu.

The Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu opened its doors to establish the said facility in its satellite school in General Maxilom Avenue in Cebu City.

A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the use of the school building was signed by DOH-7 Regional Director Dr. Jaime Bernadas and Sacred Heart School President Fr. Manuel Uy, S.J., SHS-ADC.

“The SHS-ADC shall allow the DOH, its authorized personnel and representatives, to access and use one of its buildings located inside the premises of the SHS-ADC Satellite School situated in General Maxilom Avenue, Cebu City,” stated in the MOA.

According to the MOA, DOH shall be in-charge of setting up and maintaining the site. The access and use of the site however, is free from any fee, rental or charge.

Quarantine Area of fifty (50) beds, which may be adjusted when warranted by its necessity, Triage Area for patients, Temporary Laboratory Facility for testing of Covid-19, DOH Operation Center, Equipment, machinery, and related appendices or tools are also part of the agreement. (MLC)
