Consolacion Mayor to Continue Town’s Growth

Former Municipal councilor and now Mayor Joannes “Joyjoy” Alegado mentioned his 10 highlight agenda during the inaugural session of the 10th Sangguniang Bayan in the Consolacion Municipal Hall on Friday, July 5.

Alegado promised to focus on Health, Education, Infrastructure Development, Job Creation, Environment, Agriculture, Tourism, Disaster Preparedness, Peace and Order and Efficient Public Service.

Alegado said that his first priority is health since he is a medical doctor and he wants to ensure the well being of every citizen.

On Education, the Free Tuition Law of the Duterte Administration will be an advantage to give every student in Consolacion a decent education.

On the other hand, as a first class municipality, Alegado said that having adequate infrastructure serves as a lifeline of the town’s economy.

Alegado also promised to open new roads to help decongest traffic in vital locations.

Alegado said that he will do whatever it takes to fulfill the rest of his 10 highlight agenda to make Consolacion a “one-of-a-kind” town.

“The challenge is great but the fruits will be worth it. I, therefore urge everyone to act together as a united people for nation building and for the betterment of Consolacion”, Alegado said. (MLC)
