Consolacion Implements “Serbisyong Sambayanan”
The Municipal Government of Consolacion and the National Anti Poverty Commission (NAPC) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) to implement the “Serbisyong Sambayanan” program.
NAPC Cabinet Secretary Noel Felongco said that the program aims to lessen the poverty in the Philippines.
“Amo ning gihimo with the sole reason of really helping our poorest of the poor alleviate their present condition,” said Secretary Felongco.
Based on the MOA, NAPC will provide basic services such as shelter, jobs, access to climate responsive, development of infrastructures for the poor people to use and health security.
Meanwhile, Consolacion Mayor Joannes Alegado gave gratitude to NAPC, he is also hopeful that the said program will reach the barangay soon.
“Nindot ni nga programa sa gobyerno karon, this is good news for everyone and I hope there will be true change nga matagamtaman sa matag usa kanato, modagayday gayud ngadto sa pinakaubos sa atong katilingban,” the mayor said. (MLC)
