Consolacion Implements Market Scheduling
With the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) still in effect in the whole province of Cebu due to COVID-19, the municipality of Consolacion in northern Cebu will implement its market scheduling starting tomorrow, April 16.
Under Executive Order No. 57 issued by Consolacion Mayor Joannes “Joyjoy” Alegado, 21 barangay are to be divided with different scheduled issued by the local government unit.
Residents from Barangay Casili, Pulpogan, Tolotolo, Danglag, Garing, Polog, Panoypoy, Panas and Lanipda can go to the market on Monday and Friday only.
Residents from Barangay Cansaga, Poblacion Oriental, Poblacion Occidental, Nangka and Tugbongan can go to the market on Tuesday and Saturday only.
Meanwhile, residents of Barangay Tilhaong, Lamac, Tayud, Jugan, Pitogo, Sacsac and Cabangahan can go to the market on Thursday and Sunday only.
Meanwhile, people who are not from Consolacion can also go to the market every Wednesday only.
Mayor Alegado clarified that residents who don’t follow their barangay’s schedule should not be allowed to enter the market premises. Face-masks and quarantine pass are also required upon entry. (MLC)
