Manila — Concerned government agencies are ready for the All Saints Day, a Palace official said on Sunday.
“Batay sa kautusan ng Pangulo (Benigno Aquino III), isinasagawa ng lahat ng mga kinauukulang ahensya ng pamahalaan ang puspusang paghahanda para sa darating na Undas,” said Presidential Communication Operations Office Secretary Herminio Coloma, Jr., in a radio interview over radio station dzRB Radyo ng Bayan.
He noted that the Philippine National Police (PNP) is set to be in full alert status.
Coloma also reported that the Land Transportation Office, beginning October 27, will assign watchers to observe bus terminals in Metro Manila in a round-the-clock basis.
“Gayundin ang isasagawa ng Philippine Ports Authority sa lahat ng pantalan, at ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines sa lahat ng paliparan sa buong bansa,” Coloma added.
The Communication Secretary also said the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board is now accepting special permits for Metro Manila buses that will transport commuters to the provinces. The special permit will last until November 3.

It also included in the routine maintenance activities for both carriageway and roadsides being undertaken by the DPWH field units includes traffic service maintenance with the provision of informative/regulatory warning signs or traffic advisory.
