COMELEC to Conduct Simulation of BOL Plebiscite

The Commission on Elections will be conducting a simulation exercise of the January 21, 2019 plebiscite to ratify RA 11054 otherwise known as the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL).

Using the plebiscite questions to be used in the Bangsamoro Plebiscite areas as provided in Article VI of Resolution No. 10425, a simulation activity will be held on October 23, 2018 at the COMELEC Main Office in Intramuros, Manila.

It will be the first time that various plebiscite questions will be used since areas not presently included in the Bangsamoro core territories are now being proposed to be included.

Resolution No. 10425 or the Implementing Rules and Regulations as to the conduct of the Bangsamoro Plebiscite provides for the mandated responsibilites of the COMELEC in the ratification of the BOL. (COMELEC)
