Cloudy Skies, Isolated Rainshowers Over PHL On Thursday

Expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies over most parts of the country, with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the eastern part of Visayas and Mindanao on Thursday.

State weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the ridge of a high pressure area (HPA) continue to extend over Luzon.

Easterlies, on the other hand, still affect the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao.

In Luzon, light to moderate winds will blow from east to southeast, and coming from the east over the rest of the archipelago.

PAGASA cited that coastal waters will be slight to moderate. (PNA) JMC/MCCA
