Cloudy Skies, Isolated Rainshowers Over PHL On Monday

Some parts of the country, including Metro Manila, will experience cloudy skies and isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms on Monday, state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms may happen mostly over the eastern part of Visayas and Mindanao.

The weather systems that continue to affect the country include the ridge of high pressure area (HPA) extending over Luzon, while easterlies affect the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao.

Light to moderate winds will blow from east to southeast over Luzon, and coming from east to northeast over the rest of the archipelago.

The country’s coastal waters will be slight to moderate, PAGASA said.(PNA) JMC/MCCA
