Bearing the theme, “Pagpanglimpiyo sa atong Nataran, Sumbanan alang sa mga Kabatan-onan,” the activity will be participated by the thousands of employees from the 22 Departments comprising the city government and from at least 52 participating Barangays of which 32 are Urban and 16 are Coastal areas.

The opening salvo which will start at 6 o’clock in the morning will be conducted at Sitio Living Water in Barangay Basak Pardo.

The quarterly activity is a program of Mayor Rama which he started during his stint as a city councilor to help clean the city and promote this Queen City of the South as the most livable city guided by his mantra which is to straighten what is crooked, clean what is dirty, beautify what is ugly, put fragrance what is obnoxious and put an order on what is chaotic.

Everyone is encouraged to partake in the activity and likewise to clean their own backyards and surroundings. Some private companies and organizations will also join in the activity. (By: Greggy Jiggs P. Senados, PIO Staff)
