City to Commemorate Rizal’s 119th Death Anniversary

The city government here through its Cultural and Historical Affairs Commission or CHAC will commemorate the 119th Death Anniversary of Dr. José Protasio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda also known as Dr. Jose P. Rizal on December 30, 2015 Wednesday.

A Holy Mass at the Rizal Monument located at Plaza Sugbo in Cebu City Hall grounds will be offered to start the activity at 7:30 in the morning which will be followed by the program proper.

The program will be highlighted by cultural presentation and the ceremonial flower offering to the Rizal Monument.

Meanwhile, December 30 every year is declared as a regular special non-working day throughout the country.
