Chowking Opens at Ayala Central Bloc

Chowking Philippines opened their 81st branch in the Visayas on December 6, 2019 at the newly opened Ayala Central Bloc, Cebu IT Park, Cebu City.

Chowking’s Ayala Central Bloc branch features the first self-ordering kiosks in Visayas. This tap-to-order system provide a more hassle-free customer experience. These kiosks are the first that Chowking has launched in the country.

First, a customer only needs to touch the screen and select their orders from the menu. Afterward, he may proceed to pay via credit/debit card through the payment terminals in the kiosk or pay via cash at the counter. Dine-in customers will be given table trackers so that the store servers will know where they are seated for faster serving.

Meanwhile, Chowking President Andrew Santos happily announced the return of the favorite Pork Chao Fan. He said that they have set up a facility in Visayas, the first outside of Luzon, to address the pork ban issue in Cebu.

“I am happy to announce that we have set up a production facility in Cebu, it is our first production facility outside of Luzon and we are now ready to produce Pork Chao Fan again,” Santos said. (ASC with reports from Selorsky)
