CF Cards Arrive, BOC to Convene at 4 pm Today

Comelec Cebu City South District Election Officer, Atty. Ferdinand Gujilde informs reporters through a text message that the replacement for the 3 defective CF cards from Manila has finally arrived this morning.

Gujilde earlier said that the BEI’s session is set to resume at 12:30 noon allowing only the authorized watchers to enter the session hall. He also added that as for the BOC, it will convene at 4 pm today.

“BOC will convene at 4:00 p.m.. The watchers, lawyers, candidates and media are allowed” Gujilde said.

The CF cards are now being placed on the PCOS machines coming from Mambaling, Barrio Luz, and Cambinocot in preparation for the scheduled canvassing.

The results of the returns from the said ballot boxes will determine Cebu City’s Vice Mayor and 3 other councilors.

As of this writing, the BEIs are in the process of re-feeding into the PCOS machine the shaded ballots retrieved from Mambaling, Barrio Luz, and Cambinocot.
