Cebu Placed Under Alert Level 2

The whole of Cebu is placed under Alert Level 2 starting October 20 to October 30.

Alert Level 2 means that more establishments will reopen, such as theaters, karaoke bars, gyms, and kid’s playrooms or playgrounds.

Sitting capacity for business establishments would also increase under Alert Level 2.

Cebu City Acting Mayor Michael Rama is yet to issue guidelines for the city under Alert Level status. He said that he would still meet with stakeholders first.

Alert Level Guidelines:

Alert Level 1: All establishments, including cinemas, karaoke bars, gyms, and kid’s playrooms or playgrounds are open and allowed to operate at 100% capacity.

Alert Level 2: All establishments are open but venue capacity is limited to 70% to 50%.

Alert Level 3: All establishments are still open but venue capacity lowered.

Alert level 4: All establishments are open, but some will have limited venue capacity. Establishments such as cinemas, karaoke bars, gyms, and kid’s playrooms or playgrounds are closed.
