Cebu People’s COOP Dominates CCCI Badminton

The Cebu People’s Cooperative team bagged the championship title of the Men’s and Mixed Doubles Badminton tournament of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) last September 28 at Metro Sports Center.

Taiheiyo got the second place in both the Men’s and Mixed Doubles while Graphic Star got the third place in Mixed Doubles and the PhilHealth team for Men’s Doubles.

Gothong Southern Shipping Lines won the title for women’s doubles while Vicsal Development Corporation and Land Bank were the second and third placers respectively.

CCCI’s badminton tournament is part of the series of annual activities organized by the chamber’s Membership Development Division which is aimed to promote camaraderie and an active lifestyle among CCCI member companies.

The support and participation of ANSECA Development Corporation, Gothong Southern Shipping Lines, Inc., Cebu Parklane International Hotel, OPASCOR, Philippine Spring Water Resources, Inc., Queen City Food Chain and Anitas Home Bakeshop contributed to the event’s success.
