Cebu Pacific Announces Domestic Flights Cancellation for Jan. 8-10

Airline carrier Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) on Friday announced more cancelled flights, this time from January 8 to 10.

This comes as the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) moved to limit the number of arrivals at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

CEB has cancelled the following flights as of Friday 4:30 p.m.:

Moreover, CEB also cancelled a couple of Manila to Bacolod flights as the Bacolod local government ordered the limitation of the entry of flights from Metro Manila following the adjustment of the capital region’s Alert Level back to Alert Level 3 as a spike on COVID-19 cases was observed following the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The following Manila to Bacolod and Cebu to Bacolod flights are cancelled:

5J 477/478 Manila – Bacolod – Manila (January 9 to 15)
5J 487/488 Manila – Bacolod – Manila (January 11 and 13)
5J 124/125 Cebu – Bacolod – Cebu (January 15)

According to CEB, affected passengers may opt to avail of available options such as rebooking of their flights, the conversion of their flight booking to a travel fund, or have their booking refunded.

Furthermore, CEB added that they are offering flexible options for all domestic flights until January 31, 2022. (GFB)
