Cebu MSMEs Urged to Join Kapatid ‘Mentor ME’ Program
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in partnership with the Go Negosyo, will conduct an orientation on Kapatid’s Mentor ME (Micro Entrepreneur) Program in Cebu City on September 30.
DTI Cebu Provincial Director Maria Elena Arbon said the Mentor ME Program is aimed to assist Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) scale up their business through the weekly coaching, conceptual discussions and mentoring sessions by Go Negosyo’s angelpreneurs, experienced entrepreneurs, and seasoned business lecturers on the different functional areas of entrepreneurship.
The program is divided into two phases and will run for 12 weeks.
To join the said ‘Mentor Me’ Program, an entrepreneur must have the following criteria:
- A resident of Cebu
- Business is registered
- Business is operating for at least one year
- Willing to attend 12 weekly sessions on specified schedules
- Willing to enter into a Contract of Commitment
- Has the knowledge on the Market
- Has vision for the enterprise
The program is free of charge but seats are limited on first come first served basis.
