Cebu ‘Most Livable City’ in Asia
The Queen City of the Philippines was named “Most Livable City” in Asia, a milestone for the Cebu City Government under the administration of Mayor Michael Rama.
Real estate giant Lamudi gave the distinction to Cebu City, calling the city an exciting and affordable place for its clients.
As the oldest city in the country, the City of Cebu is also a cultural center for its Spanish-Filipino heritage buildings.
According to Lamudi, Cebu City, which is the capital of Cebu Province, has the right balance of shopping malls, business parks, universities and museums, among several others.
The real estate firm also considered to be among the most livable in Asia are Bali, Indonesia; Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh; Mandalay in Myanmar; and Lahore, Pakistan.
Last year, Cebu City was also recognized as “Most Livable City” in the entire country by GMA News TV through its broadcast program “Ang Pinaka…”
