Cebu.IFF 2018 Curtain Raiser at SM Seaside

The Cebu International Film Festival (Cebu.IFF) curtain raiser was held at the Cube Wing Atrium of SM Seaside City Cebu on June 8, 2018.

The curtain raiser marks the opening of the Cebu International Film Festival with the theme “Technology X Humanity”. CBM 2018 Chair, Benny Que and CEBU.IFF President, Mel Allego opened the curtain raiser with their welcome messages. CCCI President, Consul Antonio “Tony” Chiu also gave his inspirational message for the event.

The curtain raiser was filled with different performances by local artists. Among them are Warlyn Gallaza, Maxim Ilagan, MTB Miga Ta Babes, Justine Narvios, Jewel Villaflores, and Rommel Tuico.

CEBU.IFF Past President, Lilu Aliño talked about the history and goals of Cebu International Film Festival. CEBU.IFF Past President, Marie Ernestine Denise Fajatin also talked about what would happen in this year’s film festival.

The curtain raiser proceeded with the exhibition of film trailers from different filmmakers and concluded with the closing remarks of CEBU.IFF Board Member, Chai Quisumbing. (Aljun Cainghog)
