Cebu City Public Library is Back on Its 24/7 Operation

The Cebu City Public Library (CCPL) now operates 24/7 once again.

Effective July 23, CCPL posted the announcement on their Facebook page.

The CCPL recently postponed their 24/7 operation last July 1 this year due to lack of manpower.

Students were delighted about the latest information from CCPL since library is a convenient place to study.

“Nindot hinuon ni siya nga 24/7 kay ako nag skwela ko samtang nag trabaho ug usahay gabii rako makalugar unya need pako mag study sa akong lessons, nindot man diri kay naay mga reference books ug hayahay pa gyud, bugnaw (The 24/7 operation is really helpful especially for working students like me. Sometimes the only time I get to study my lessons is during night time. I like it here since they have various reference books and it’s convenient),” said Clark, a student in Cebu.

Meanwhile, Chief Librarian Rosario Chua said that before the 24/7 operation resumed, they received a lot of calls and messages inquiring on when the library will go back on its 24/7 operation.

Chua was so happy that they are back on their 24/7 operation and invited everyone to visit the library. (MLC)
