Cebu City Police Office Tops in Region 7

The Philippine National Police in Cebu City or the Cebu City Police Office got the top spot as the fastest crime solving Police office in Central Visayas (Region 7).

Just this January this year, the Police Regional Office-7 (PRO-7) started the Crime Clearance Efficiency tally in the whole region.

Crime Clearance Efficiency is the basis on how fast a certain crime is solved from the day of the complaint until the case is closed.

Cebu City has a total index crime of 1,261 and 753 of these were solved.

Meanwhile, the whole province of Cebu has a total of 2,328 index crimes and only 895 were solved.

On the other hand, the Municipality of Minglanilla welcomed its new Chief of Police.

PCpt. June Tabigo-on, who was the former Chief of Police of the Bantay Police Office succeeded PMaj. Verniño Noserale as the Chief of Police of Minglanilla.

PMaj. Noserale is now the Chief of Police of the northern town of Consolacion. (MLC)
