Cebu City Booster Jabs on Full Swing
Amid the new COVID-19 Omicron variant threat, the Cebu City government intensifies its campaign in providing booster jabs for fully vaccinated individuals in the city.
This comes as the city recently recorded a high positivity rate, according to a report from the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH 7).
Cebu City Mayor Michael stressed the importance of the booster shots as a way of fighting another surge of COVID-19 cases due to the omicron variant.
As of January 6, there are already over 1,000 individuals who received their booster shots in the city, according to the data from the Cebu City Health Department (CCHD). (ASC)
