Cebu BEIs have yet to get Honorarium

About 1,000 Board of Election Inspectors (BEIs) in Cebu have yet to get their honorarium from the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for serving the May 13 polls.

Based on the list of the Comelec there 1,178 BEIs from two cities and five municipalities who have yet to receive their P4,000.

Comelec Cebu Provincial Supervisor Eddie Aba said he personally made a follow-up on this at the Comelec-Manila. He said that those who did not receive their cash cards will be paid in cash through their election supervisors.
