CD-R King Showcases ‘Rechargeable’ E-Bikes at SM Cebu

Twenty models of budget-friendly and energy-efficient electronic bikes (E-Bikes) were showcased by the Philippines’ leading provider of affordable gadgets, CD-R King, in their one-week exhibit at the ground floor of SM City Cebu.

These varieties of rechargeable bikes, which is under the “California Eco-bike” brand of CD-R King, are known to be the answer to lessen air and noise pollution since it offers exceptional innovative features that promote green technology, and increase environmental regulations through its economical energy consumption of less than a kilowatt per charging with zero-smoke emission.

California Eco-bikes also impress motoring enthusiasts as to its performance (which can run from 35 up to 75 Kilometer per hour), style and look, which may look like a moped or scooters but offers a wide array of unique designs with bold colors from vintage to modern.

Admirers also considers its reliability which has more than 100 kilos load capacity.

California Eco-bikes provide solution against expensive process of vehicle registration and the inconvenience of getting a driver’s license because E-bikes come with No LTO Registration, No Driver’s License and No Helmet requirement for riders.

Upon the turnover of eco-bikes to the buyer, California Eco-bikes will also give the original copy of a certification from Land Transportation Office (LTO), which allows eco-bike owners to ride without being required vehicle registration, Driver’s License or Helmet.

The LTO has classified E-Bikes as Bikes.

“We are going to release an LTO Certification only for the buyers of eco-bikes since it has been classified by the LTO as bikes because it has no gasoline or fuel used to run it”, said John Thaddeus Antig, CD-R King’s Area Manager.

The twenty models of California Eco-bikes were Pasadena (P9,900), Clendale (P13,000), Windsor (P15,000), Reedley (P15,800), Ridge (P15,800), Vista (P18,800), Danta Monica II (P19,800), Ventura (P20,900), Stockton (P20,900), Avalon II (P20,900), Delano (P22,800), Rancho (P22,800), Concord II (24,800), Ccayton (P24,800), Colton (P24,800), Davis (P25,800), Oakley (P26,800), Canyon (P29,900), Truckee (P38,000) and Ontario (P59,900) with 6-8 seats capacity.

According to Antig, Reedley and Avalon are the top sellers of California Eco-bikes since “they are very affordable and have child-friendly specifications”.

All models of the California Eco-bikes are set with complete LED-speed indicator and LED headlight. It is made of high-rigidity frame and ABS plastic casing, durable alloy rims ad ABS deck and frame. These bikes were assembled by in-house expert technician of CD-R King.

The soon-to-open California Eco-bikes second branch is set on June or July this year at the second floor of SM Cebu City where more than 20 models of eco-bikes will be displayed.
