CCCI Welcomes New Members

Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) inducted their new members at the Marco Polo Hotel on October 10, 2018.

Of the 41 new members of the CCCI, some notable new members include Bai Hotel Cebu, CIFCO, Colorsteel and Aubrey Confectionaries.

CCCI President Consul Antonio Chiu gave first his president’s address after his March valedictory address.

Chiu also mentioned that he is happy with the success of the Cebu Business Month 2018 last June 2018.

“Let me start with the resounding success of the Cebu Business Month (CBM) 2018. On June, Cebu Chamber has successfully organized its grandest Cebu Business Month yet with the theme ‘CBM 2018: Innovate Cebu’,” Chiu sad in his president’s address.

“For the past 22 years, CBM continues to act as a catalyst for business development and investment promotions especially for Cebu’s key industries namely tourism, information and communication, technology business processing and outsourcing, entrepreneurship MSME and other emerging industries like the creative industries,” Chiu added.

In his president’s address he also talked about the successful activities that CCCI has accomplished in the past months

He also mentioned CCCI’s continues to create advocacies that will help provide a suitable environment for the growth and expansion of the commerce and industry.

Also present in the event was Deputy Privacy Commissioner of the National Privacy Commission, Atty. Leonardo who talked about the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
