CCCI Glocalizes Cebu
The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) launched its annual Cebu Business Month celebration last March 20, 2015, at Marco Polo Hotel, together with its partners, sponsors, and the members of the press. This year’s theme, “Glocalized Cebu” – alludes to Cebu’s readiness to compete globally thru capitalizing on its local strengths, talents, and potentials.
CBM 2015 Overall Chair Francis Dy presented the month–long activities, along with each of the chairpersons of the varied events. This was followed by a Press Conference which was actively participated in by the media.
The Cebu Business Month which is held annually every month of June primarily aims to inspire, promote, and grow Cebu business by gathering industry stakeholders in a month- long activities and events in the areas of Tourism, ICT & BPM, Entrepreneurship, and Creative Industries.
To express its support to CBM 2015, sponsors and partners signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) during the said event.
Aside from its regular partnership with the Province of Cebu and the Cebu City Government for this annual event, Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd., Cebu Holdings, Inc./Ayala Center Cebu, International Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and SM City Cebu were among the Omnibus Sponsors; while its Hotel Partners consist of Cebu City Marriott Hotel, Cebu Parklane International Hotel, Crown Regency Hotel, Marco Polo Plaza Hotel, and Radisson Blu Hotel.
The Prime Media Partners for this year’s Cebu Business Month are Business World, GMA-7 Regional Network, and Skycable Pacific CATV, Inc.. Moreover, to help in the promotion of CBM events other media partners namely 90.7 Crossover FM, NU 107.Com Company, Alcordo International, Inc., Cebu Daily News, Graphicstar Imaging Corporation, Greenworld LED Solutions, MyNIMO.com, SunStar Publishing Corporation, Sonshine Media Network International, Twin Bee Print Ads Corporation, and Techcellar Business Solutions.
