CCCI: 2018 A Fruitful Year
The year 2018 was again a successful year for Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) as they reported their accomplishments this year in a press conference at the Bai Hotel on December 5, 2018.
The CCCI family continued to grow this year with 54 newly inducted members to a total of 830 compared to last year with 795 members.
CCCI continues its mission to strengthen the capabilities of its members to be globally competitive. CCCI conducted 12 publics trainings (7 food-related trainings and 5 were TNA-Based Soft -Skills) abd 6 in-house trainings and over 400 members and non-members of CCCI were successfully trained this year.
4 flagship projects created by the CCCI in partnership different organizations successfully helped the community. The Optimizing & Upscaling Roles in the Food Supply Chain project or OURfood project helped 35 farmers in doing good agricultural practices and entrepreneurial skills.
Improving Food Safety Standards and Auditing Techniques for SME’s which helped 13 business, 9 were CCCI members 4 non-CCCI members. Entrepreneurial Skills Training for Solo Mothers project of the Chamber also helped 22 single mothers this year. 51 mentees, 30 mentors and 40 panelists also participated The Kapatid Mentor ME Program a partnership project of CCCI and DTI.
The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) also promoted the Cebu Business Month 2019 with the theme “Innovate Cebu: Innovation in Action”, one of the biggest events of the Chamber in 2019. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
