CCCI 2016 Elections Set On February 26

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (CCCI) will hold its annual election of officers this February 26, 2016 (Friday).

Eleven vacant seats of the CCCI Board of Trustees will be filled in this year’s election to represent the following sectors: namely, Three (3) for Industry, Two (2) for Trade, Four (4) for Service, One (1) for Sectoral Association and One (1) for ICT.

Pursuant to the Chamber policies, the current CCCI Board of Trustees has mobilized its Commission on Elections (COMELEC) composed of four (4) immediate Past Presidents and the Chamber’s Legal Counsel to administer and enforce all laws and regulations relative to the conduct of the election including serving as Board of Canvassers.

The CCCI through its Membership Division (MDD) is currently facilitating via courier the distribution of the election documents directly to the general membership. These documents include the following: Rules of Election, List of Candidates, Election ballot and Minutes of the 2015 Elections.

CCCI Members are encouraged to submit their filled-up and signed election ballots directly to the MDD on or before February 26, 2016.
