CBM 2015 Launched

With its theme “Glocalized Cebu”, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) launched its annual Cebu Business Month celebration last March 20, 2015 at Marco Polo Plaza Hotel together with its partners, sponsors and the members of the press.

The month-long activities on June were presented by CBM 2015 Overall Chair Francis Dy along with the chairpersons of each event followed by a Press Conference which was actively participated by the media.

To express its support to CBM 2015, sponsors and partners signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) during the said event.

Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd., Cebu Holdings, Inc., International Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and SM City Cebu were among the Omnibus Sponsors; while its Hotel Partners consist of Cebu City Marriott Hotel, Cebu Parklane International Hotel, Crown Regency Hotel, Marco Polo Plaza Hotel and Radisson Blu Hotel.

The Prime Media Partners for this year’s Cebu Business Month are Business World, Skycable Pacific CATV, Inc. and GMA-7 Regional Network. Moreover, to help in the promotion of CBM events other media partners namely 90.7 Crossover FM, NU 107.Com Company, Cebu Daily News, Graphicstar Imaging Corporation, MyNIMO.com, SunStar Publishing Corporation, Sonshine Media Network International, Twin Bee Print Ads Corporation and Techcellar Business Solutions were also present during the MOA signing.

Representatives of Isuzu Cebu, Inc., GMR Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation, Krispy Kreme, Lane Archive Technologies Corporation, NITO’s International Ventures, Inc., PAGCOR (Casino Filipino), Robinsons Land Corporation, Smart Communications, Inc. and SM Development Corporation were likewise there to sign the MOA as Event Sponsors of CBM 2015.

Also present to signify their support are the sponsors for ICT-BPM conference namely Cognizant Technology Solutions Philippines, Medicard, Inc., Lexmark Research and Development, PLDT-ALPHA Enterprise and DOST-ICTO as well as the partners from the 3rd Run for the Rivers event such as DENR, City Government of Cebu, Province of Cebu, City of Talisay, CHED, ERUF, DPWH, DepEd, Cebu Academe Network, Cebu Uniting for Sustainable Water, Bureau of Fire Protection and PNP Region -7.

The Cebu Business Month which is held annually every month of June primarily aims to inspire, promote and grow Cebu business by gathering industry stakeholders in a month long activities and events in the areas of Tourism, ICT & BPM, Entrepreneurship and Creative Industries.
