Carmudi, CAGI Renew Ties for Upcoming Car, Truck, Motorcycle of the Year Awards
Online car platform Carmudi Philippines has renewed its partnerships with the Car Awards Group Inc. (CAGI) for the 2017 Car of the Year Philippines (COTY-P) and Truck of the Year Philippines (TOTY-P) awards.
The partnership was signed last June 20 by Carmudi Philippines’ Chief Operating Officer Cholo Syquia and CAGI President Ronald Rey de los Reyes.
According to Reyes, the renewed partnership will also cover the inaugural Motorcycle of the Year-Philippines (MOTY-P) award.
Carmudi Philippines–which has been in the motoring industry since 2014–has become the choice channel of both reputable sellers and prospective buyers of new and pre-owned vehicles.
According to Syquia, Carmudi Philippines is happy to team up once again with CAGI and is excited by the organization’s plans for the near future.
“This new partnership would show that the two groups share the vision of helping consumers by giving them informed choices on vehicle purchases,” Syquia said.
Carmudi Philippines PR and marketing head Kris Lim shared Syquia’s sentiments, saying that the renewed partnership is timely for the company.
“Its been a great year for us to support again the Car of the Year-Philippines, especially now that Carmudi has ventured into publishing. This will provide us a thorough report on the latest model in the market-both for cars and motorcycles.”
“We are quite excited on this partnership and also leverage our platform in car buying both online and offline, across used and new,” Lim added
For his part, de los Reyes said that CAGI is ecstatic with its continuing partnership with Carmudi Philippines as it is set to cover a wider audience with the inaugural MOTY-P.
“We’re excited for the renewed partnership with Carmudi,” the CAGI chief added. “We’re looking forward for an exciting year ahead with more productive endeavors on hand. We are eyeing more fruitful years ahead with Carmudi.”
