Capitol Promotes 34 Personnel

Thirty-four recently promoted personnel of the Cebu Provincial Government took their oath before Gov. Hilario P. Davide III, signifying their commitment to provide continued excellent service to the public.

Among the 34 personnel are two ranking officials, namely Provincial Treasurer’s Office personnel Yolly Cabando, who is promoted to local treasury operations officer IV; and Provincial Planning and Development Office acting head Architect Florentino Nimor, who is promoted to project development officer IV.

Also given promotion are other 24 employees and eight job order workers who now have permanent employment status.

Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) head Bonifer Nacorda said during the recent executive-legislative agenda (ELA) meeting, both government branches agreed to initiate internal development.

“Atong gi-ablihan kining mga position as part of the mandate of each department in response to the professional needs of their office,” said Nacorda.

All 34 personnel are from the executive and legislative departments of the Cebu Provincial Government.
