Barili municipal councilors Ranulfo Bolo, Julie Flores and Nabunturan barangay captain Almar Gutierez also came to the medical mission.
The medical mission served barangays Guiwanon, Luyo, Minolos and Sayaw residents.
The host, Guiwanon barangay captain Nicole Rae Jaguit, guided arriving residents, initially in trickles and eventually in hordes, to the registration table for their referral slip.
At the registration table, staff of the vice governor’s office segregated local residents under senior citizens, adults, children and those who need dentists.
Minolos barangay captain Jeffrey Sacil, assisted Jaguit, and showed them doctors’ tables, dentists’ clinic inside medical bus, laboratory technicians and barbers.
Aside from free medical consultation, there was tooth extraction and oral cleaning. Provincial Health Office (PHO) also gave free medicines.
While residents are having free medical check-up municipal councilor Flores, barangay captains Jaguit and Sacil each donated 500 cc of their blood for the province’s blood bank.
Magpale thanked the doctors of Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Central Command for their free check-up and advice as well as PHO doctors.
Vice governor also thanked Dr. Winston Bolls of Bolls Angeles Optical for the free eye check- up and free eyeglasses.
The vice governor also thanked dentists from different rural health units (RHU) in Barili, Ginatilan, Alegria, Dumanjug, Ronda, Samboan, Santander and district hospitals in Barili and Badian.
She also thanked PHO medical officers and staff who handled laboratory testing kits.
Surprisingly vice governor’s office personnel, doing clerical jobs and office follow-up, are also good barbers and hair stylists.
